It's a Boy!!

So, we left at 11 this morning and just got back at 6:30. Ugh, we had to go to Shreveport, La. We live in Arkansas.

But, we have some beautiful pics of my soon to be grandson. We took her to get the 2D, 3D and 4D baby imaging.
There's not doubt about it...It's a boy.

It's so funny cause my son in law is looking at the tv and says, "Is that the head?"

She tried hard not to laugh. She said, "No dear, we call that the boy parts, or the scrotum."

We all cracked up!  Needless to say this is their first child and his first ultrasound experience.

I've missed you guys today. I'm really tired.
Mohaha...I will get that post fixed, I promise. I'm just super tired and yesterday turned into a very busy one.

Good night all.

Wow!  I am so excited for you!  That is funny about the boy parts!  When is the baby due to be born?   I went through  Shreveport and it seemed like a really nice place.  We went through it at rush hour.  Compared to Atlanta traffic it wasn't bad at all!  At least, people were polite.  Stopped for a quick bite at a fast food place and it had a big picture of a rose.  Does Shreveport have a rose festival?  LOL I am sorry about all the questions.  I haven't been on here enough lately and want to keep up.  I am also so happy for you.  Candy

I don't know about the rose festival. I think that was the second time I have ever been there..and it's usually just passing through to somewhere else.

Gavin Blaze Murphy is due on February 6th. This will be my first blood grandchild. I do have 2 others that I claim as my own, but this is really my first. I'm so excited.

I know how bad the traffic is in Atlanta. I lived in Georgia for a year and once I had to drive through Atlanta. I ended up having a panic attack and pulled to the side. The police came and told me I had to move, that it was illegal to park there. I told him that if he wanted my car moved then he would have to move it. I was a crying, shaking mess. lol
He called for back up and drove me off the interstate. I will never ever do that again. I'm so pathetic. lol

We lived in Commerce, Homer, Jefferson. We just stayed with relatives up there.

Congratulations. Grandchildren are so much fun and they bring so much joy and sunshine into your world each and everyday. As you know I have three. 2 boys and 1 girl. Love them. I know you are so excited and I am so excited for you.I remember when my first grandson was born. You would have thought I was the mother. lol
I know my daughter at times probably wanted to say back off grandma at times, but she didn't she just let me have as much time as I wanted and needed and Im telling you that was a wonderful time in my life.

I have 5 children of my own, plus 4 that I consider my own, but by blood are my husbands.

I'm so used to "mommying" (is that a word) that I worry I will drive my daughter nuts. I don't want to take over, and I'm gonna try really hard not to, but it's who I am.

I have always taken care of anybody and everybody. My kids, kids down the road, neighbors..it's just what I do.

I'm going to have to work on that. lol
