I don't want people to think they are stuck here. I see so many fussing on other forums. I don't mean members fussing to get attention from the owners..although I would rather people send me a message..that I will answer. lol
I mean people started trouble with members just to have something to do and causing a state of chaos for everyone. In that case I want ppl to feel free to leave this board and know that if I feel they are miserable here that I can and will send them packing.
I have no intentions of allowing someone to come on here and cause problems for my members, or make them miserable. They will be the first to go, I promise you that.
I totally agree with you on that. I've seen unfortunately on some forums where members cause trouble or complain when the thing is, they could just leave if they don't like it. The other day on another forum, there was a member who was complaining about someone spamming and that person hadn't gotten caught yet. I could tell that that member was pretty young and tried to advise her to report the situation and yet she still complained. I think people need to remember that they do have the freedom to come and go as they please and that they aren't obligated to stay at any place if they're not happy with it.
That's right, Scarlet. My goal is to keep our home free stress free. There will be disagreements, I'm sure. But I'm counting on the maturity of our family members to keep things under control.
I hate spam just as much as the next person and I will get rid of it as fast as I know it's there. If I don't then one of the moderators will get rid of it for us. I wish I had a button that flags posts but I'm not worried because we have great ppl here that will catch it quickly. The boards are monitored pretty closely to prevent those types of things...so far, so good.
I just want ppl to come here and not feel threatened or agitated. This will be a peaceful, stressfree and FUN place to be.
